Apogee Instruments SQ-520: PAR/PPFD sensor, direct USB connection to computer, suitable for measuring LED lighting, real-time measurement, with original software, made in the USA.

The Sonda SQ-520 can be connected directly to a computer via a USB cable to take point or graph and log measurements of PPFD (photosynthetic photon density = amount of PAR absorbed by the plant from lighting) in real time using the included software. At the same time, it can also be used as an independent logging unit with easy connection to a conventional 5 V DC USB adapter. The internal memory of the probe has a capacity of 10,000 user-specific periodic measurements with the possibility of saving them in CSV format.

use

  • Measuring incoming PPFD . Compared to traditional LUX meters, it can be used for measuring LED lighting where PAR and PPFD values play a crucial role!
