Terra Aquatica pH- Down 10 l - (multilingual label including DE)

Unlike traditional PH regulators available on the market, PH Down is not an ordinary acid. It is a precise blend of elements that regulate and adjust the nutrient levels while buffering the nutrient solution. Along with a balanced blend of acids, we have added buffers that serve to stabilize the pH and regulate calcium levels in hard water. As growers, we always have a wish list that would make our lives easier if fulfilled. At the top of the list is a pH buffer that would work so well that we could go on vacation for two weeks and when we return, the pH of the nutrient solution would still be the same. The problem with this is that this is only possible when the nutrient solution is weak, there is little activity in the water and your plants are growing at an average rate. When growth is fast and many ions are removed from the solution and complex interactions take place, such stability is unthinkable. However, today we are no longer helpless. Today we can achieve satisfactory stability while gaining other benefits. A nutrient solution with good pH management is one where you only need to adjust the pH once, when you start the system. We don't claim to have achieved exactly that, and not in every situation and with every nutrient. But in terms of pH management, we have tried in our greenhouses using pH Down in combination with Flora Series and Mineral Magic, we have been able to grow plants for several weeks without the need for pH adjustment. Along with a balanced mix of acids, we have incorporated the buffers that have the task of stabilizing the pH and controlling the calcium content of hard waters. As growers, we always have a list of wishes that would make life easier. The understanding on the list is a buffer pH that works so well that we can go for a two-week vacation and after returning the pH in the nutrient solution would still be the same. The problem is that this can only be achieved when the nutrition is weak, when there is not much activity in the solution and your plants are growing at an average level. When the growth is to be fast and a large number of ions are removed and all complex interactions are in the solution, such stability is unthinkable. But today we are no longer helpless. Today we can achieve satisfactory stability and other benefits. The solution with good pH control is the one where you have adjusted the pH only once, when you start the system. We are not saying that we have achieved exactly this, not in every situation and with every nutrient. But when it comes to pH management, we tested in our greenhouses in combination with Flora series and Mineral Magic Nutrition, the plants grew for several weeks without needing the pH.
