LCD screen shows the time until the next watering, warning messages and current settings. This also allows for easier error analysis. The batteries are now located in the main body, making it easier to open the case and change the batteries. Increased control options, the solar panel is still controlled on a 5 minute cycle but setting 1 is now half a minute instead of 1 minute to allow for shorter operating times. Each button press increases the operating time by about 80% so that at setting 5 the solar panel is permanently on. More robust hanging bracket. The acoustic signal for water shortage can be switched off if required. The water level sensor can be switched off if necessary. The droppers and tees now include an improved tip that is more waterproof and allows for faster and easier installation. The new pump also allows for valve replacement and a replacement is included in the control unit. The new pump is more efficient and is housed in a foam rubber casing to reduce noise levels.
