Guano is a mixture of guanokalong black powder and humic acids. The guanokalong powder comes from naturally fermented bat dung from the caves of Madagascar and Indonesia.
Guanokalong powder is a rich source of organic nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium, enzymes and other organic substances. The most important component is phosphorus. Phosphorus plays an important role in the growth and functioning of plants.
Seedlings and roots grow faster and fruits form optimally when there is sufficient phosphorus in the soil. Humic acids are made from 100% Leonardite, also known as highly oxidized lignite. Guanokalong powder acts as a base fertilizer and humic acids help plants absorb various available elements faster.
Black Guano releases nutrients slowly over a period of about 3 to 6 months, making root rot almost impossible.
Unique enzymes and high levels of calcium and magnesium stimulate the life of microorganisms in the soil. Microbial life in the soil helps convert phosphorus into nutrients that plants can absorb.
For a complete and comprehensive fertilization of the growing medium and/or the garden, it is advisable to combine Black Guano with other fertilizers. Healthy soil shows the right ratios between the individual nutrients and a lush microbial life.
Benefits of using Black Guano:
soil improvement
Supports microbial life
Creates a high proportion of permanent humus
Reduces transplant stress and water requirements
Increases pH and water holding capacity
For optimal results in the garden, Guano Black should be used as follows:
When used in the soil, the following area can be fertilized:
1 kg is suitable for 2 to 4 m2
When using in pots and/or growing containers, mix 2 measuring spoons of 50 grams of Black Guano each into 15 liters of growing substrate or soil.
In later phases, sprinkle the soil with black guano as needed and work it in well. When using in pots, sprinkle the soil and soak it well with water.
Also suitable for coconut substrates.
