The complete Amazon 16 system is designed to accommodate a maximum of eight plants. The most effective nutrient uptake is provided by aeroponic nozzles. Plants are in special grid pots suspended above the humid chamber. The roots grow into a wetting chamber where they are constantly moistened by a sprayed nutrient solution.

The root system accepts as much as the plant. The watering that the plant cannot accept immediately drips back into the tank and is used later with a circulation pump.

Plant nutrition is most effective through the root system. The denser the roots, the more optimal the nutrient absorption. Aeroponia allows the most effective development of the root system (and the entire plant), since the roots can absorb the maximum amount of oxygen in addition to nutrients.
