The Cooltube reflector was launched in 1996 by the Prima Klima company. It is based on the Cools-hade from England and has been adapted and improved accordingly. The Prima Klima Cooltube essentially consists of a BSG (borosilicate glass) glass tube with high light transmission. Flanges made of heat and shock resistant nylon separate the air tube from the heat of the lamp and at the same time serve as holders for the reflector shades, which are made of environmentally friendly coated aluminum (PVD). The outer reflector shades can be easily adjusted to meet the requirements of the room lighting. By removing the shades, the Cooltube can also be used for 360-degree room lighting. Due to its tunnel-like cooling effect, Cooltubes can be placed in close proximity to the illuminated plants, which enables a much more efficient use of the light output. The built-in eyelets make it easy to attach the Cooltube. The high-quality E40 ceramic socket is suitable for HPS and MH lighting systems. The high-quality cable entry with thread ensures the connection of the cable.
